Echoes in Still Water
This zine combines visual elements with typography to enhance and visually demonstrate the message of the poem, Mirror, by Silvia Plath.
Zine Design
The zine uses progressive movement and a circular ripple effect woven into the poem to convey the heightened emotional experience and the woman's deep connection to the mirror. Typefaces, a simple sans-serif (Microsoft Yi Baiti) and an elegant script (Sloop), further underscore the repetitive yet significant role the mirror plays in her life.
